Hope that Secretary Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. Will Make Americans Both Healthier and Freer

Donald Trump choosing Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. to be secretary of the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) has been met with much pushback from many prominent communicators in politics, media, and business. This is largely because Kennedy appears to be the real deal — a dedicated “swamp drainer” for much of the government activities under the control of HHS.

Many liberty advocates have followed with appreciation Kennedy’s decades-long battle to protect children who over the years have been subjected to an ever-increasing number of vaccine shots at an early age without demonstration of the shots’ safety and efficacy, all while manufacturers are protected under United States law from liability for harms the shots cause.

Then, when national, state, and local governments in America used coronavirus as an excuse to stomp on Americans’ medical freedom and on much freedom in many other parts of life as well, Kennedy challenged the abuse. And he skillfully presented his arguments with eloquent communication and an impressive deployment of relevant information. Kennedy was a hero of the resistance to coronavirus crackdown.

Kennedy found a warm reception among attendees at a 2021 Ron Paul Institute for Peace and Prosperity conference where he presented a speech titled “Pandemic and the Road to Totalitarianism.” You can watch here that speech that deals much with both freedom and health:

Hopefully, Kennedy will bring about in the department he leads a significant increase in respect for freedom. Hopefully, Kennedy will also bring about a significant reduction in the damage to people’s health caused by the very HHS programs that are purportedly purposed to advance health.
